The University of Osaka states it was officially founded in 1931 as Japan's sixth imperial university. Its outline page reports 15,194 undergraduates and 8,139 graduate students, including 2,611 international students. It comprises eleven undergraduate schools and fifteen graduate schools covering fields from letters and law to dentistry, pharmaceutical sciences and information science, and charges JPY 535,800 a year in tuition.

Radboud University states that in 2025 it had 23,383 students, of whom 10.1 per cent were international, and that it employs 6,262 people measured in full-time equivalents. It reports 39 bachelor's programmes and 62 master's programmes, the latter including eight research master's, five from the Teachers Academy and four post-initial master's programmes.
